Several robberies, shooting incidents, burglaries over weekend in Jonesboro; Reports released Monday and Tuesday by JPD

A suspect was arrested on 11/4 in a stolen vehicle and found with numerous drugs he was charged with possessing with intent to deliver. The recently released says Kassaundra Diane Reed, 53, of Jonesboro, was arrested with suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana.

A suspect was arrested on 11/5 for possession of meth and other drugs with intent to deliver, along with simultaneous possession of a firearm. Joe Brown, 30, of Jonesboro, was arrested the report said.

An aggravated residential burglary was reported between 11/5 and 11/6 at the 500-block of N. Caraway Road. Suspects broken into an apartment and pointed a gun at the victims.

An aggravated robbery was reported early Friday morning at the 3500-block of Race Street. The victim was assaulted by several young black male suspects before being robbed, according to the report.

A report in Jonesboro alleged that someone stole $47,200 in funds from a bank account.

A man was robbed at gunpoint in his vehicle at the Links after 3 PM Friday.

A safe was stolen from a home at the 4500-block of East Highland Drive sometime during the day Friday.

A home was broken into Friday evening at the 2500-block of Mary Jane Drive. The suspect entered through a bedroom window.

A man was arrested on allegations that he forcibly gave oral sex to a woman early Saturday around 5 AM in Jonesboro. Larry Dennis Fowler, 66, of Jonesboro, was arrested for a felony charge of rape. He is being held in Craighead County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.

A catalytic converter thief struck at the 3100-block of Dan Avenue between 11/3 and 11/7.

At about 8:24 PM Saturday night, a subject reported someone and hired a gun in their direction at the 400-block of East Roseclair. No one was injured.

A report at about 9:31 PM Saturday night said a suspect shot at witnesses and hit someone’s house. The location was masked.

Yet another shooting incident happened Saturday night. This one after 10 PM at the 600-block of Gladiolus Drive where a suspect reportedly shot a gun in the air and put it against a victim’s side while stealing his phone.

Between late Saturday and 2 AM Sunday at the 3700-block of Griffin Street, a suspect fired a weapon at a victim during an aggravated residential burglary. This time, the suspect – a 15-year-old male – was arrested.

Someone broke into a home overnight Saturday/early Sunday at the 300-block of Gordon and stole electronics.

A report alleges that a suspect held a victim in a room while beating her with his bare hands and then stole items from the victim Sunday morning at the 900-block of W. Oak Avenue in Jonesboro. Raymond R. Franklin, 25, address unknown, was arrested. The victim sustained numerous facial injuries.

A burglary entered a home at the 2500-block of Mary Jane between Friday and Sunday and stole items.

A fight at the 3500-block of Race Street Saturday night around 5:30 PM resulted in shots fired. Bullet casings were located.

A residential burglary was reported sometime during the day Sunday at the 1800-block of Burns Circle.

A woman caught a burglary breaking into her home through a window Sunday evening at the 2600-block of Curtview Drive before scaring him off.

An aggravated residential burglary resulted in a woman being shot between 9 and 10 PM Sunday, as previously reported here. A suspect was arrested.

A residential burglary was reported Sunday evening at the 3500-block of Race Street.

A residential burglary was reported Monday afternoon between 1 and 2 PM at the 3400-block of Race Street.

A residential burglary was reported Monday, happening between Friday and Monday afternoon, at the 900-block of Belt Street.

A residential burglary was reported between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday at the 3100-block of Parkwood Road.

A residential burglary was reported between 2 PM and 7 PM at the 3600-block of Parkwood Road with three residents having $12,000 in cash stolen from them.

A report after 10:15 PM Monday at the 2700-block of Greenbriar Drive alleged that a suspect hit a victim then racked a pistol and pointed it at the victim.

Vehicle break-ins:

  • Between 5 and 7 PM Saturday at the 3400-block of Parkwood
  • Between 8 PM and 10 PM Sunday at the 800-block of Richsmith Lane
  • A suspect picked a lock on a trailer and stole items from it sometime between Friday and Monday morning at the 2200-block of Watt Street.
