
JONESBORO, Ark. – A robbery happened close to lunch Tuesday, May 28 in Jonesboro.
At 11:48 PM, police were dispatched to The Mall At Turtle Creek to Dillards. Police were told en route that suspects had already left the building and assaulted two employees on the way out.
The report said two black males entered the store and were acting suspiciously according to a male, 22, who works there. The man then heard a scream from a female co-worker, 23, who was injured during the crime. Once he heard her scream, he spotted the two males running toward the south exit of the store.
The male employee ran toward the door to try to block one of the suspects from exiting but he was shoved out of the way. His left eye was scraped during this. He did notice the suspects get into a dark colored SUV. The police report lists a 2008 Ford Edge as the suspect vehicle.
Several thousand dollars worth of merchandise was reported stolen. Most of the items were satchels or bags, Brahmin brand.
All other information in the police report was hidden.
The suspects face felony charges for the robbery and the amount stolen along with other possible charges.
