Shooting at Cedar Heights; Suspect arrested

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Memorial Day weekend in Jonesboro ended with an arrest for a shooting incident.

Approximately 10:38 p.m., Jonesboro Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Cedar Heights Drive in reference to shots fired.

A gunshot victim was located when he was transported to St. Bernards in a personal vehicle. He is currently being treated for a gunshot wound to the leg. One suspect was detained and transported to the police department for questioning.

Meanwhile, multiple fights broke out on the scene and other units responded to assist with the disturbance.

Noah Q. Thompson, 18 yrs. old of Jonesboro, was arrested and charged with Battery-1st Degree and is awaiting his PC hearing at CCDC. The weapon along with drugs were recovered during the investigation.

  1. Seems the prosecutor dropped the ball on letting these guys go,if they would have been arrested and charged and put in jail when they were party’s to murder wouldn’t be having issues now.
