WILSON, Ark. – A tragic accident claimed the life of a young woman from Osceola over the weekend.
It happened at about 7 AM Sunday morning. Haley Andrew, 21, of Osceola, was driving a 2010 Kia soul north on U.S. 61 when the accident happened.
The Arkansas State Police crash summary said the accident took place at Cortez Kennedy Avenue in Wilson. That’s where the vehicle left the roadway to the left and struck a tree, mortally wounding the young woman.
Roads were wet from heavy rain early Sunday, police noted.
Andrew was a student attending ASU Midsouth. Many shared their sympathies with the family online.
Memorial service will be at 6 PM Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
