JONESBORO, Ark. – A Craighead County jury decided Friday that Alex Rankin murdered Dewayne Manning in July, 2017 and that he will lose 25 years of his life for the crime.
Rankin was sentenced by the jury late Friday to 25-years in prison, said Second Judicial District Prosecutor Scott Ellington.
The sentence came about 90 minutes after the guilty verdict.
