Alleged Horseshoe Bend thief charged with over 20 crimes

MT. PLEASANT, Ark. – A suspect is facing 15 counts of breaking and entering and seven counts of theft as well as a number of other charges for being an alleged thief.

According to Chief Deputy Earnie Blackley on June 30, Mathew Joseph Sollock, 25, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested and charged with 15 counts of breaking or entering – a class D felony. He is also being charged with seven counts of theft of property, a class A misdemeanor, one count of theft of property, a class C felony, one count of theft of property, a class D felony, and criminal mischief first degree, a class A misdemeanor. Sollock is incarcerated in the Izard county Detention Center in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

These charges stem from the thefts in Horseshoe Bend, Oxford and Violet Hill, the release from Izard County Sheriff’s Department said.


On June 27, Callie Jane Clark age 36 on Mt. Pleasant was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for theft of property. Clark was incarcerated in the Izard County detention Center and bonded on a $20,000 bond. Clark is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on July 31.

On June 26, Amanda Marie Thomas age 33 of Sherwood was arrested by the Sherwood Police Department for a warrant for the Izard County Sheriffs Department for felony failure to appear. Thomas is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center with no bond. Thomas is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 19.

On June 24, Mathew Tristan Anderton age 18 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested by Deputy Mike Smith for theft by receiving. Anderton was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $620 bond. Anderton is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 10.

On June 24, James Colten Havens age 19 of Melbourne was arrested by Deputy Mike Smith for theft by receiving. Havens was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $620 bond. Havens is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 10.

On June 24, Tommy Ray Moser Jr. was arrested by Sgt. Steve Davidson for public intoxication. Moser was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $220 bond. Moser is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 12.On June 24, Sherry Lesha Allen age 52 of Mt. Pleasant was arrested by Deputy Geoffrey Watts for Violation of Hot Check Law. Allen was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given an OR bond. Allen is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 26.

On June 23, Adriona Dixon age 20 of Cushman was arrested by Deputy Rusty Ford for cruelty to animals. Dixon was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given an OR bond. Dixon is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 12.

On June 22, Heather Dawn Guinn age 43 of Lakeview was arrested by Sgt. Gabe Sanders for furnishing prohibited articles. Guinn was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $20,000 bond. Guinn is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 31.

On June 22, Tiffany Renee Renfrow age 37 of Evening Shade was arrested by Lt. Charles Melton for Medicaid Fraud. Renfrow bonded in a $100 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 12.

On June 27, John Andrew Rutherford age 46 of Harriet was arrested by Deputy Rusty Ford for driving while license revoked, no insurance, refusal to submit and DWI 1st offence. Rutherford is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $1065 bond and a parole hold. Rutherford is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 27.

On June 27, Peggy L. Pearson age 53 of Calico Rock was arrested by Deputy DJ Tiernan. Pearson bonded on a $440 bond and is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 26.

On June 27, Glenda Kay Preston age 64 of Melbourne was arrested by Deputy DJ Tiernan for assault 3rd degree. Preston was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and given a OR Bond. Preston is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on July 26.

On June 28, Nicholas James Finger age 31 of Melbourne was arrested by Deputy Evan Jones for defective lights, no insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia possession of controlled substance and failure to pay reg. fee. Finger was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $2785 bond.
