Four arrested in early morning vehicle break-ins

Some 70 items believed stolen recovered

JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro Police Department detectives are investigating early morning arrests that has yielded numerous items of evidence from vehicle break-ins this morning.

At approximately 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, January 25th 2018, patrol officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the Hill Dr area of Jonesboro. Officers were told that an occupant of the vehicle was seen exiting the vehicle and checking the door of a near by truck apparently to see if it was locked. Upon their arrival, they were able to locate the described vehicle and stop it near the area it was reported.

Property, including a previously reported stolen handgun, belonging to victims of Vehicle Breaking or Entering reports was recovered from the stopped vehicle.

The four occupants were placed under arrest and taken to the Craighead County Jail and left in their custody.

Names of those arrested are not being released at this time as this is an active investigation, the press release said.


NEA Report did find one arrest on the Craighead County Jail’s inmate roster fitting the time listed in the report.

At 2:40 a.m., Jada Alexus Anderson, 18, of Trumann, was booked into the jail on a breaking/entering vehicle charge.

It’s not known if she is connected to this case or was arrested around the same time frame due to coincidence.
