A-State Invites Third-Party Comments to Accrediting Agency

JONESBORO – Arkansas State University is seeking public comments about the university in preparation for the periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

Arkansas State will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit March 5-6, 2018, by a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The university has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1928.

The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.

The public is invited to submit comments regarding the university to: Third-Party Comment on Arkansas State University, Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, 230 South LaSalle Street, Suite 7-500, Chicago, IL 60604-1411.

Comments also may be submitted through HLC’s website, www.hlcommission.org/comment.

Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs. Comments must be in writing.
The deadline for submitting comments is Feb. 5, 2018.
