Gift drive benefits nursing home residents in Randolph Co.

A total of 23 residents from Randolph County Nursing Home and Pocahontas Healthcare & Rehab Center do not have family to purchase gifts or items for them during the holidays, a post from Randolph County Companions said. 

POCAHONTAS, Ark. – A group is collecting donations for nursing home residents in need this holiday season.

The Christmas Gift Drive is being organized in Randolph County for residents of nursing homes who are in need of holiday cheer. Monetary donations and/or new/unused gifts are accepted. From lip balm, lotion, aftershave, blankets, puzzles, games, arts and crafts, stationary, CDs, clothes, or more, all gifts can help bring a smile to someone who could use it this Christmas.

A total of 23 residents from Randolph County Nursing Home and Pocahontas Healthcare & Rehab Center do not have family to purchase gifts or items for them during the holidays, a post from Randolph County Companions said.

Bring donations to Jennifer Webb at Pocahontas Medical Clinic or Amber Green at Black River Technical College.
