Three arrested for guns and drugs by JPD SCU

JPD Street Crimes Unit (SCU) Investigators have arrested three subjects after the execution of a search warrant netted the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and ecstasy, as well as a loaded firearm.

On November 21 , 2017, SCU executed a search warrant at 1006 Cartwright Apt. 2.  At the time of the warrant, there were three people at the residence. During the search of the apartment, officers located approximately 1.1 pounds of suspected methamphetamine in “ice” form, approximately 249 suspected ecstasy tablets, ten-ten milligram fentanyl patches, and a loaded semi-automatic Glock handgun with a
drum magazine.

All three persons were arrested and transported to the Craighead County Detention Center where they are being held pending a probable cause hearing scheduled to take place on November 22nd, 2017.

Mayes

Chauncy L. Mayes (38 yoa of Jonesboro)
Trafficking a controlled substance
Possession of a schedule II controlled substance (not meth or cocaine) with purpose to deliver
Simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm

Gray


Joslyn L. Gray (21 yoa of Jonesboro)
Trafficking a controlled substance
Possession of a schedule II controlled substance (not meth or cocaine) with purpose to deliver
Simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm
Possession of a firearm by certain persons


Roshuna N. Johnson (29 yoa of Jonesboro)
Same charges as Gray
