JONESBORO, Ark. – An arrest has been made in connection to the homicide that occurred on Logan Ave. on Tuesday October, 10th, 2017.
26 year old Jonathan Johnson of Jonesboro was arrested for First Degree Murder of Dewayne Turner of Blytheville. Jonathan Johnson is awaiting a Probable Cause Hearing and remains in custody at the Craighead County Detention Center.
On Tuesday October 10th, 2017, Officers with the Jonesboro Police Department were sent to the 900 block of Logan Ave. at approximately 7:20pm in response to a call of shots fired. When they arrived they found a deceased male lying in the roadway. The victim was later identified as 28 year old Dewayne Turner from Blytheville, AR.
