Izard Co. man arrested on several meth charges

IZARD COUNTY, Ark. – A man is accused of possession of meth with intent to deliver – a serious charge – in Izard County.

According to Chief Deputy Earnie Blackley on Sept 3, Randal Scott Beard age 35 of Norfork was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for possession with the purpose to deliver meth a class A felony, possession with the purpose to process, prepare, test, or analyze meth a class B felony, possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to ingest, inject, inhale, or otherwise introduce into a human body, meth, a class D felony and possession of marijuana a class A misdemeanor.

Beard was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention center in lieu of a $30,000 bond. Beard is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on September 22.

On September 8, Thomas Joe Hayes age 25 of Bigelo, AR was arrested by Deputy Mike Smith for theft of property. Hayes is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of an $1120 bond. Hayes is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Horseshoe Bend on Nov 14.

On September 8, Kyle Bradley Taylor age 27 of Melbourne was charged with two counts of residential burglary and two counts of theft of property. Taylor bonded on a $1000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on September 11.

On September 7, Charles Dylan Hodges age 23 of Cotter was arrested by Deputy Richard Crowe for failure to appear. Hodges is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $1500 cash bond. Hodges is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on October 5.

On Sept 8, Paul David Beaver age 33 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith for Drinking in public, domestic battering 3rd degree and has a hold for probation and parole. Beaver is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center with no bond. Beaver is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on October 5.

On September 8, David Wayne Watkins age 27 of Wiseman was arrested by Deputy Geoffrey Watts for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on suspended drivers license, Watkins was incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center and bonded on a $1485 bond. Watkins is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on October 19.

On September 9, Franklin Eugene Willey age 28 of Batesville was arrested by Deputy Rusty Ford for failure to appear. Willey is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $1700 cash bond. Willey is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on September 21.
