Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 300 block of Drake St. in Jonesboro shortly after 8 p.m. Monday.
One person, Roy Kimble, 52, of Jonesboro, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be a non-life-threatening injury.
Officers took a suspect into custody a few blocks away shortly after the incident occurred. The suspect is Billy Ray Dixon, 51, also of Jonesboro. Mr. Dixon will have a probable cause hearing Tuesday afternoon.
This incident is under investigation; more information should be available Tuesday morning after 8.
