
MELBOURNE, Ark – This week’s arrest roundup in Izard County includes a man who was arrested for public intoxication. Authorities say he was a level three sex offender who has not registered in 15 years.
Here’s the release from Izard County Sheriff’s Department.
On May 30 Gerald Eugene Gallup, 64, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy Mike Foster for public intox and disorderly conduct. After Gallup’s arrest, it was determined that he was a level 3 sex offender and hasn’t registered in 15 years. Gallup was also arrested for failure to register, a class C felony. Gallup is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $19,440 bond. Gallup is scheduled to appear in Izard County District court on July 13.
Other cases:
On May 29, Joseph Raymond Lee, 33, of Brockwell was arrested by Lt. Melton for breaking or entering a class D felony and theft of property, a class C felony. Lee is being held in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $20,000 bond. Lee is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on June 27.
In a related case, Alisha Nichole Peevey, 29, of Melbourne, was arrested by Lt. Melton for theft of property, a class C felony, and breaking or entering, a class D felony. Peevey is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $20,000 bond. Peevey is scheduled to appear in Izard County Circuit Court on June 27.
On May 31, Nicholas Adam Staggs, 30, of Calico Rock was arrested by Sgt. Davidson for suspended drivers license, domestic battering 3rd degree and possession of controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. Staggs is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center with no bond. Staggs is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court on June 29.
On June 2, Larry Reggie Brown, 36, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy Mike Foster for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Brown is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center. Brown is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Horseshoe Bend on July 1.
On July 2, Tammy Laray Cole, 54, of Horseshoe Bend was arrested by Deputy Mike Foster for two counts of third degree assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Cole is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center. Cole is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Horseshoe Bend on July 1.
On June 6, Steve Martin Brewer, 47, of Calico Rock was arrested by Deputy Geoffrey watts for public intoxication, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brewer is incarcerated in the Izard County Detention Center in lieu of a $2590 bond. Brewer is scheduled to appear in Izard County District Court in Melbourne on June 29.
