
JONESBORO, Ark. – A woman found herself in trouble with police after an investigator driving by her recognized her for having a suspended license.
At about 8:30 p.m. on Friday night, Investigator Bryan Bailey with Jonesboro Police Department noticed a blue 2012 Ford F-150 XLT driven by Latisha Hall, 30, of Jonesboro. Bailey said he knew Hall had a suspended driver’s license. He also reported knowing she had absconded on her felony probation. He initiated a traffic stop at Warner and Witt.
Hall was placed into custody without incident. Bailey searched the vehicle, due to her being on probation, and located a small plastic bag containing crystal meth. Two Xanax bars were alco located along with an Alprazolam pill.
The suspect faces charges including felony absconding and possession of meth, and misdemeanor possession of a schedule IV or V substance, driving with a suspended license, and no proof of liability insurance. She was transported to the Craighead County Detention Center.
She remains incarcerated as of Monday afternoon at 12:30 p.m.
