JONESBORO, Ark. – A man was tragically killed in a traffic accident Sunday morning in Jonesboro.
Stephen Carnathan, 46, of Jonesboro, was driving east on Dan Avenue in Jonesboro when he crossed over into the first westbound lane of traffic, according to the narrative from Jonesboro Police Department.
At the same time, a semi-truck with trailer was driving in the westbound lane. Carnathan struck the rear duals of the semi-truck’s trailer.
He died on the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
