Report: "Gutted" dead cat left on woman's porch

JONESBORO, Ark. – A woman reported a malicious misdeed involving furry feline friends of hers in Jonesboro this week.

The report was taken Thursday afternoon by Jonesboro Police Department. An officer, parked on North Culberhouse, was approached by a woman who said earlier in the morning between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. at a trailerpark at 2517 Duncan Road, a cat was in the road. She stated she saw a truck approach the cat and she yelled at the driver to keep him from hitting the feline.

However, the said the driver “intentionally” hit the gas and then ran over the animal.

The woman also said on Dec. 4 between 11 a.m. and 12 noon, someone or something gutted a cat, killing it, and left it on her porch.
