JONESBORO, Ark. – A business is facing the burden of being the target of thieves after criminals made off with a truck and trailer over the weekend.
The report was taken Monday by Craighead County Sheriff’s Department. A 1991 Mack semi-truck, belonging to Atlas Producers LLC, was parked at the intersection of Highway 226 and County Road 161, over the weekend, when it was stolen sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.
A trailer was also attached to the truck. The trailer was a yellow Hyster trailer.
The stolen truck, a 1991 Mack, was white with “API” in red letters on the door and # 92087 on the hood.
Both the truck and trailer will be entered as stolen in NCIC.
The suspect faces two felony charges for the value of the stolen items both exceeding $5,000.
