JONESBORO, Ark. – A suspected drug den was busted during a search by Craighead County authorities early Wednesday.
Shortly after midnight at 2508 Brooke McQueen, officers with Craighead County Sheriff’s Department conducted a parole search. Inside, authorities found Kerry Angela Wilson, 39, and Preston Scott Ergle, 40, both of Jonesboro, along with another individual who was not arrested.
While searching Wilson’s bedroom, authorities found a glass pipe, a small black box and two bags filled with suspected methamphetamine, weighing about 1.42 grams. The report said Wilson admitted the purse was hers but said the meth was not.
During the search, the report said Ergle approached an officer and advised felony drug paraphernalia was in his backpack – a clear glass pipe and a syringe. The pipe appeared to have meth inside.
Both Wilson and Ergle were arrested and charged with felony possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. They were transported to Craighead County Detention Center.
