JONESBORO, Ark. – Thieves targeted a storage unit Monday in their quest for easy valuables.
Police were dispatched after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to the 2000-block of Clinton School Road over the reported call. When officers arrived, they met with two complainants who said a lock had been put on their storage unit – and not by them.
A maintenance man cut the lock off and raised the door, revealing a startling surprise to the two.
Everything was gone.
The complainants estimated between $10,000 and $15,000 worth of goods stolen out of the unit.
A list was still being compiled of the goods removed.
