Thieves break into Jonesboro man's shop

JONESBORO, Ark. – Sometime in the past week, crooks broke into a man’s shop in the county and stole thousands of dollars of goods.

It happened on County Road 778 at a Jonesboro address, according to the Craighead County Sheriff’s Department incident report. Thieves broke into a man’s shop building, through a walk-in door on the west side of the structure, and took several valuable items.

The items include: A Husqvarna 16″ chainsaw; A Craftsman skill saw; A Dewalt 18V cordless drill; Two summit climbing stands; A Dewalt sawzall; A Craftsman weed trimmer; $1,600 in fishing poles and tackle; A 1988 Mercury Mariner 25hp outboard motor.

Craighead County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
