JONESBORO, Ark. – While Laurie Pixler was being abducted Sunday night, on the way to her eventual death in Poinsett County, an unknowing silver passenger car drove behind Pixler’s stolen car.
A yet-to-be-identified suspect took Pixler in her black Hyundai, at gunpoint, during a robbery of Dollar Tree employees. While they drove off, a silver passenger car was also driving behind them. Jonesboro Police Department released security footage to NEA Report and other outlets Thursday and the footage shows a short glimpse of the car in question.
JPD detectives want to talk to the driver of that car.
The person isn’t in trouble. It is simply a case of JPD looking for more info and this person may have unwittingly been exposed to a useful detail. Even knowing which direction the suspect vehicle turned may give authorities leads on more security footage which could be found.
If you know who may have driven the vehicle in the video, help JPD and call 935-STOP to tip off police. It could lead to the arrest of the person responsible for the end of Laurie Pixler’s life.
