WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. – A meeting has been scheduled to fill the vacancy in the nomination for Lawrence County Judge.
The Lawrence County Democratic Central Committee will be holding a Democratic Convention in the Lawrence County Courthouse, Courtroom on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 6:30 PM, according to the Lawrence County Clerk’s office. The meeting will be to fill the vacancy in the nomination for the Lawrence County Judge.
Lawrence County Judge Dale Freeman passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, after a month long battle in a Little Rock hospital with injuries sustained in a severe vehicle wreck over a month prior. He was the Democratic nominee for county judge, winning in his primary election earlier in the year.
