JONESBORO, Ark. – Crooks targeted a snow cone stop in Jonesboro Sunday morning.

Tropical Snow is a destination for heated customers outside of many area grocery stores but the one at Harps on Harrisburg Road and Highland Drive in Jonesboro became a target Sunday morning.

Two guys up to no good were spotted at around 5 a.m. early Sunday by a manager at Harps. One was peeking inside of the grocery store while another was walking toward the Tropical Snow stand. Security camera footage captured the suspects.

Around $270.00 was stolen inside of a bank bag, along with tip jar money and change from the register. A small pry mark was observed on the door, as if the thief had attempted to pry the door open before gaining access to a key from a hidden lock box. Officers dusted the area for prints but could not locate any, the report said.

They both face felony charges for breaking into the stand, along with misdemeanor charges of theft.
