JONESBORO, Ark. – Veterans in Craighead County have access to a new resource.
The Craighead County Circuit Clerk’s office, in partnership with Fidlar Technologies, announced Thursday a new service for veterans, known as Honor Rewards. With Honor Rewards, veterans can sign-up at the circuit clerk’s office or online to receive an Honor Rewards card, which qualifies them for discounts and incentives at participating businesses in the community.
This service is being made available at no cost to the county and its taxpayers.
To sign up, all a veteran needs to do is visit www.honorrewards.com, click on Craighead County, and fill out the form with details on when they served and with what branch of the armed forces.
Craighead County Circuit Clerk Candace Edwards told NEA Report her office will also assist veterans who may not be as computer savvy. She said a simple call or visit to her office will get the veteran where they need to be.
Local businesses and retailers can participate in the service by contacting Edwards’ office or using the Business Sign-Up link on www.honorrewards.com. By participating, their business name will be listed on the Honor Rewards website for Craighead County, provided to Veterans who receive an Honor Rewards card, and also be regularly mentioned in email blasts to current Honor Rewards members.
Edwards and her staff will officially launch the service at the Craighead County District Fair this year, from September 19 to 24. Her office will have a booth set up to help veterans sign up or learn more.
