CC Clerk: Register to vote before Oct. 10

JONESBORO, Ark. – Craighead County Clerk Kade Holliday is spreading a message that applies to all counties across America: you have until Oct. 10 to register to vote.

But if you aren’t sure – like many of us – you can check your voter registration from the comfort of your computer.

Check your status here. All you have to do is click the link, enter your first and last name as well as your birth date.

“If you are not found in the system don’t worry, it’s not too late to register,” Holliday wrote in a Facebook post.

Residents have until Oct. 10 to get registered. To do so, all you need is to print the below form out, fill it out and mail it to the Arkansas Secretary of State’s office. Be sure you get it postmarked by Monday, Oct. 10.

The same form is used across the State of Arkansas, whether you’re in Lawrence County or Clay County. It also has the necessary address to mail the completed form to. Just affix a stamp.

For Craighead County residents, Holliday also mentioned if you are near the courthouses in Jonesboro or Lake City, both offices will be more than happy to assist you with the process of registering to vote.
