JPD detectives investigating shooting

JONESBORO, Ark. – A Jonesboro man was wounded in a shooting Monday night and detectives are investigating the case, according to a news release from JPD.
Police were called to 1823 Cedar Heights Drive at 10:27 p.m. Monday night. Upon arrival,
officers found a Jonesboro man, Jeremy Walker, 28, lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
Police officers rendered initial first aid to the victim, who was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he is still being treated.
Responding officers were told that the shooting followed an argument and fight between two individuals in the parking lot of the apartment building.
No arrests have been made.
