JONESBORO, Ark. – A string of commercial burglaries in Jonesboro may be coming to an end after an arrest by Jonesboro police detectives.
Kenneth Atherton-Ely, 34, was arrested on suspicion of involvement in numerous commercial burglaries which took place in Jonesboro. Detectives Mike McCanless and Vic Brooks with Jonesboro Police Department recovered several items taken from Jonesboro businesses, according to a news release from JPD Sgt. Cassandra Brandon.
Detectives believe Tuesday’s arrest will bring to a close at least six commercial burglary cases.
Atherton-Ely is facing felony charges including commercial burglary and theft of property. He is currently being held for a probable cause hearing.
