Caught red-handed! Suspects nabbed mid-burglary

JONESBORO, Ark. — Jonesboro police caught two suspects in the act of burglarizing a house on Tuesday.

Officers arrested Daniel Clanton, 46, and Jessica Bolin, 36, on Tuesday afternoon at the 3000-block of Hudson Drive after police were tipped off that someone had parked down the road and entered a house where nobody has lived in for a long time.

The suspects were found in the back of the residence and after being interviewed by police admitted to entering the house with the intent to steal, according to the officers in the report. Officers also took inventory of the suspect’s vehicle and located in the driver’s side door pocket containing two syringes.

Clanton is facing charges including felony possession of drug paraphernalia and residential burglary, also a felony. Bolin was charged with residential burglary and was also served three warrants. She was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center pending a probable cause hearing and with a $615 cash only bond set for the warrants.
