JONESBORO — Police were called to investigate some property that was found at a Jonesboro church that you wouldn’t expect to find normally.
On Wednesday evening, one of the church members at Millers Temple Church, 524 N. Church St., found a large butcher knife under a door mat near an entrance to the church. One man said he was at the church earlier in the day and did not notice the knife at the time.
The knife was turned over to police where it was stored.
