JONESBORO, Ark. – While heating and air companies are staying busy keeping NEA cool, one became a target of crime Sunday.
Service Heating and Air, 111 Walnut Street in Jonesboro, reported a commercial burglary Monday to Jonesboro police. The business owner believed the break in took place after 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, when an unknown suspect entered the locked business and stole items.
The perpetrators used a tool to pry the back door open. Once inside, suspects took several items including an oxygen/acetylene torch kit in a green case, a box of 5,000 rounds of .22LR ammunition, a 35 wire welder, hand tools, vacuum pumps and a red/white 50cc Honda mini bike.
The suspects could face a minimum of two felonies each, commercial burglary and theft in excess of $1,000. Anyone with knowledge of the items who receives them could also face charges. Call police if you have any information.
