JONESBORO, Ark. – Thieves stayed busy in Jonesboro over the Independence Day weekend including by snatching up a riding lawn mower from a woman’s home.
The resident woke up July 4th to find the Craftman YS4500 riding mower stolen from her home at the 3700-block of Aggie Road. Officers met with her at about 7 a.m. and took a report.
The mower is a 22 HP lawn mower with a 52-inch blade. It was listed as “green,” and aside from color, should resemble the one in the photo.
Police are investigating. The suspect faces a felony charge of theft.
