Jonesboro City Hall Closing at Noon Due to Air Conditioning Issue

JONESBORO, Ark. — Jonesboro City Hall will close at noon Friday because of an unexpected air conditioning issue, city officials announced.

The closure affects City Hall at 300 S. Church St.

Officials said the decision was made for the comfort and safety of visitors and employees while the problem is addressed.

“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue,” the city said in an announcement.

All other City of Jonesboro facilities and services will operate on their normal schedules.
