Affidavit: Woman Grabbed Man by Neck, Yelled Death Threats in Roadway

JONESBORO, Ark. — A suspect was arrested after Jonesboro police responded to a reported domestic disturbance on Clover Drive.

According to a probable cause affidavit from the Jonesboro Police Department, officers responded Feb. 16, 2026, to the 2200 block of Clover Drive in reference to a disturbance in progress. When officers arrived, they found evidence of a domestic disturbance.

Police made contact with the alleged victim, who officers noted was holding a ripped shirt. The alleged victim told officers that he and Nicole Latrice Davis, 36, had wrestled but claimed nothing further occurred. Davis also told officers that “nothing happened other than ‘wrestling’ with each other,” and said the alleged victim did not hit her.

Video evidence referenced in the affidavit reportedly showed Davis following the alleged victim down the road before jerking him around by his hoodie and yelling, “I’ll kill you,” multiple times. Officers said Davis was also seen grabbing the alleged victim around the neck area and pulling the hoodie off him.

According to the affidavit, Davis ended up on top of the alleged victim in the middle of the street while continuing to yell, “I’ll kill you.” The alleged victim was heard yelling for someone to call police. The affidavit states the alleged victim never struck Davis and was only seen attempting to get away. He sustained minor lacerations around his neck and upper chest.

Davis was arrested on charges of first-degree terroristic threatening, a Class D felony; third-degree domestic battery, a misdemeanor; and a failure to appear warrant.

Judge David Boling set bail at $35,000 and ordered Davis to wear a GPS ankle monitor. Her next court date is April 23.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
