Shon Hester, 40, of Jonesboro, was arrested by the Paragould Police Department and charged with theft of property, a Class D felony, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Police took a report Jan. 23, 2026, from a victim who stated they hired Hester in March 2025 to replace windows on their rental property. The victim told officers Hester provided a quote of $2,100 for materials and was paid that amount.

Officers stated the information gathered during the investigation established probable cause for arrest.

Hester was taken into custody, and bail was set at $2,100.
