USPS Hosting Job Fair in Batesville for Rural Carrier Positions

BATESVILLE — The United States Postal Service will host a job fair on Wednesday to fill rural carrier positions in Batesville, Cave City, Newport and nearby communities.

The event will be held Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Batesville Post Office, 490 E. College St. Postal officials will be on site to answer questions and help job seekers complete applications.

USPS is hiring Rural Carrier Associates at $20.85 per hour. RCAs deliver and collect mail in rural and suburban areas and may also sell stamps, supplies and money orders. Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record. The RCA role can serve as a path toward full-time rural carrier positions with benefits.
