Blytheville Man Faces Money Laundering, Drug Trafficking Charges After Raids

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. — A Blytheville man was arrested Friday after law enforcement officers executed multiple search warrants and seized fentanyl, ecstasy, cash, and equipment allegedly used in drug manufacturing.

According to a press release posted by the Blytheville Police Department, the 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force, agents—along with Special Response Teams from the Blytheville Police Department, Mississippi County Sheriff’s Office and Osceola Police Department—served three search warrants on Oct. 10. Two were executed simultaneously in the 300 block of Tennessee Street and the 600 block of South Franklin Street, followed by a third in the 500 block of Southwest Parkway.

Authorities arrested Andrew Henry, 50, of Blytheville, on multiple felony charges, including:

  • Trafficking fentanyl
  • Money laundering
  • Possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with the purpose to deliver (more than 4 ounces)
  • Possession of a Schedule I and II controlled substances with the purpose to deliver (more than 28 grams, three counts)
  • Manufacturing drug paraphernalia

Investigators reported seizing approximately 110 grams of ecstasy powder, 11.1 grams of fentanyl, 90 MDMA pills and $27,320 in cash. Officers also confiscated two vehicles, a pill press, and components allegedly used to manufacture ecstasy pills.

Henry was booked into the Mississippi County Detention Center, where Judge Shannon Langston set his bond at $1 million cash. He is scheduled to appear in Blytheville District Court on Oct. 13.

Authorities said the warrants stemmed from an extensive investigation targeting drug distribution and illegal activity in the Blytheville area.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
