The details in this report contain disturbing allegations involving a child victim
JONESBORO, Ark. — A Virginia man is accused of raping a 7-year-old girl in Jonesboro, with an affidavit alleging the abuse occurred multiple times.
The probable cause affidavit says that on August 26, 2025, the Jonesboro Police Department took a report stating that a friend of the complainant’s daughter had been sexually assaulted. The child’s mother was contacted, and a report was filed.
The victim, a 7-year-old girl, was interviewed on Sept. 4, 2025. She described an instance where she stated she was playing games with the defendant. The affidavit alleges sexual violations by the defendant up to and including rape.
The alleged victim stated that this had happened “several times before.” She told investigators that Moore allegedly took a video of what he was doing and later showed it to her. She also stated that Moore had shown her videos of the things he was doing on his phone with other little kids and their “daddies.”
Judge Tommy Fowler signed an arrest warrant for the defendant. JPD Detective Adam Hampton contacted a task force officer for the U.S. Marshals Service, who made contact with the Navy in Norfolk, Virginia. The affidavit states that they were able to locate and arrest Moore. He was brought back to Jonesboro on Sept. 23.
Brandon Kyle Moore, 25, of Virginia Beach, VA was arrested for a charge of rape, a Class Y felony punishable by up to life in prison. However, at his bail hearing, the judge noted Moore is likely to face more charges, based on details in the affidavit.
At his bail hearing, prosecutors asked for a $1 million bond. Special Judge Ralph Wilson set bail at $750,000 cash or surety with a GPS ankle monitor, a no-contact order, and an order prohibiting internet access.
His next court appearance is scheduled for October 30, 2025.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Several details from the probable cause affidavit were omitted from this report to protect the victim.
