POCAHONTAS, Ark. — Longtime deputy prosecutor and attorney Ryan Wallace has officially declared his candidacy for Prosecuting Attorney of the Third Judicial District, encompassing Randolph, Lawrence, Jackson, and Sharp counties.
With over a decade of legal experience, Wallace, currently serving as County Attorney for Randolph and Lawrence counties, aims to bring a wealth of courtroom expertise and community commitment to the role. His campaign emphasizes a dedication to justice, family values, and community service.
“I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Prosecuting Attorney,” Wallace stated. “Having served this district as a deputy prosecutor and county attorney, I am committed to ensuring fairness and integrity in our justice system.”
Wallace’s career spans prosecuting a range of cases from misdemeanors to serious felonies and advocating for issues such as mental health and addiction within the legal framework. He holds a law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law and is noted for his involvement in local Drug Court programs aimed at rehabilitation.
Born on a military base in North Carolina and raised in Leachville, Wallace graduated cum laude from Williams Baptist University before earning his law degree. He resides in Pocahontas with his wife Lauren and their three daughters, underscoring his deep roots in the community.
