PARAGOULD, Ark. — A suspect who was arrested for a domestic disturbance may have made this far more complicated for himself after police reported he headbutted an officer in Paragould.
The probable cause affidavit says that on May 30, 2025, police arrested Jeremy Johnston after investigating reports of a domestic disturbance.
“After his arrest and while seated in a patrol car, police noted Johnston headbutted an officer in the face, which caused his blood to enter the officer’s eye,” the affidavit said.
Jeremy Johnston, 35, was arrested for second-degree battery, a Class D felony. Jail records show charges for third-degree domestic battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and public intoxication, as well.
