Directors of Talent Attraction & Communications Selected
JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro Unlimited (JU) is pleased to announce the hiring of Bethania Baray-Harrison as Director of Talent Attraction and Brandon Carter as Director of Communications.
Talent attraction is an integral part of Jonesboro Unlimited’s five-year strategic plan. Having a focus on recruiting talent to support Jonesboro’s growing economy and working to retain existing talent is a priority. Harrison, former TV Host/Director of Community Engagement at KJNB-TV (CBS/FOX affiliate) and Director of Partnerships and Education at Opera Memphis, will focus on retaining post-secondary graduates for Jonesboro’s workforce and aiding local employers to enhance their recruiting efforts.
“We are excited to have Bethania join the JU team,” said Mark Young, Jonesboro Unlimited President and CEO. “She loves Jonesboro and will be outstanding in presenting the advantages of our community as a great place to live and work.”
Communication is crucial for Jonesboro Unlimited to sustain its brand awareness and accomplish marketing strategies. Carter, an Arkansas State University alumnus, has worked for the past 21 years in various multimedia positions in education and as a Digital Media Specialist for the City of Jonesboro.
“Brandon is a proven effective communicator, and we are excited he has joined Jonesboro Unlimited,” Young stated. “He will utilize his skills and talent to share the Jonesboro story.”
