JONESBORO, Ark. – A police report filed this week alleges valuable construction vehicle was recently stolen from an address in Jonesboro.
The alleged theft occurred between November 18 and November 29 in the 4700-block of Samantha Avenue, but it wasn’t reported until this week to police. A 26-year-old male had rented a Ditch Witch SK10 skid steer, a small, maneuverable construction vehicle utilized for digging and material transport, leaving it outside his apartment. During the mentioned period, the equipment was stolen, according to the police report.
Although the report identifies two suspects, including a 26-year-old white male, most of their information remains undisclosed.
The estimated value of the construction vehicle surpasses $25,000, classifying the theft as a Class B felony. It carries a potential sentence of 5 to 20 years in prison along with fines.
