Knife Attack at Jonesboro Target Leads to Felony Arrest

JONESBORO – A confrontation involving a knife at a local Target store led to the arrest of a Jonesboro man on felony charges.

The incident took place around 5:50 PM on August 11 at the Target located at 3000 East Highland Drive. Jonesboro police responded to a call regarding a brawl involving a knife. Upon arrival, officers found two males suffering from minor injuries.

Through further investigation, authorities identified Larry Marshall, 43, of Jonesboro as the main assailant. Marshall was arrested on charges of second-degree battery, a felony. Before being booked into Craighead County Detention Center, he was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Police took several items into evidence including a flash drive containing video footage of the incident and a steak knife.

Jail records show that Marshall is currently being held on a misdemeanor assault charge with a bond of $1,500. Charges are often amended or altered by detectives after further review of a case. However, the majority of the report is masked from public view.
