JONESBORO, Ark. – A child in Jonesboro was assaulted and had his property damaged during an incident reported on June 30.

Although specific location details were masked due to the investigative status in the report, the incident occurred between 5:19 PM and 5:35 PM. The 11-year-old white male victim suffered head injuries from the attack and his phone was damaged, resulting in a cracked screen. The victim mentioned a momentary blackout and had a small hematoma at the back of his head, as noted by the responding officer.

The suspects involved were described as four black males between the ages of 12 and 14. Since most of the report was masked, it wasn’t clear how much information the police had about their identities.

The case is currently under investigation, with potential charges being considered for several misdemeanors. If warranted, the juveniles involved may be referred to the juvenile department for appropriate actions.
