Two teens arrested in Jonesboro shootings

Two people have been arrested in Jonesboro in connection to multiple shootings and both are underage.

The Jonesboro Police Department received multiple reports of shootings occurring on High Street since February, the department said in a release Wednesday.

Officers responded to a drive-by shooting in the 2400 block of High ST in the early morning of February. No injuries were reported. NEA Report reported this incident here.

On February 28, JPD said the victims of the previous incident were traveling through the intersection of Manila Street and Willow Road when they heard multiple shots. Officers were able to develop suspect information, and in the early morning of March 1st, two males, both 15, were arrested for their involvement in these shootings.

They were transported to the Craighead County Juvenile Detention Center.
