JONESBORO, Ark. – The victim in the Haven Hotel shooting has died, turning the case into a homicide investigation.
Tiquan Wilson was shot multiple times on New Year’s Night at Haven Hotel in Jonesboro. The incident report showed he suffered wounds to the chest, back, and neck. He was placed on life support. Friday afternoon, JPD confirmed he had tragically died.
This turned the shooting investigation into a homicide investigation.
A felony warrant has now been issued for Laquinton Lauderdale. He should be considered armed and dangerous, said police.
Lauderdale is also thought to have been wounded in the shooting, said JPD’s Public Information Specialist Sally Smith. He was the second victim, she said, apparently confirming that there was an exchange of gunfire. Police plan to question him about how the violence began to gain a clearer picture of what happened, she said.
If you know Laquinton or his whereabouts, send JPD a message on social media or call JPD at 870-935-5657.
