JONESBORO, Ark. – A young man has lost his life in the most tragic of circumstances.
JPD officers responded to a wreck around 2:45 a.m. on Aggie Road located in Jonesboro.
Taylor Aaron Martin, 19, of Harrisburg, was traveling eastbound on Aggie, when his car left the road on the southbound side. The 2014 Dodge Challenger, he was driving, struck a culvert and continued through the tree line and came to rest on the drivers’ side of the vehicle.
Martin was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Craighead County Coroner. The passenger, in the car, was taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries.
The cause of the accident is still unknown and is currently under investigation.
Family and friends mourned the loss on social media Friday.
