JONESBORO, Ark. – At this rate, two shoplifting suspects in Jonesboro will soon have their home fully furnished.

Several reports taken over the weekend at Walmart, 1815 East Highland Drive in Jonesboro, detailed repeated activity from two shoplifting suspects.

While working Sunday morning, loss prevention staff observed a black male and female place a 39-inch Element smart television in their shopping cart. While following them with cameras, loss prevention observed the suspects remove the security device from the television and push the television set out the front door. Employees stated that the suspect then entered a white four-door passenger car and left. Police checked the expired tags on the vehicle and they returned to a black Maxima.

It wasn’t the first time the suspects had been seen at this store. On Thursday, October 18, these same suspects were witnessed stealing a refrigerator. It happened just before 10 PM. They loaded the fridge into the cart and walked out.

The suspect vehicle in this report also seemed to police to be the same vehicle involved in a recent theft at Kroger.

Security footage was still being prepared for police as of this publication.
