
JONESBORO, Ark. – Authorities have a suspect in the shooting of a vehicle which happened on July 4 on West Nettleton in Jonesboro.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mario Stafford for Terroristic Act with Injury, which is a Class Y Felony. Stafford is believed to be armed and may be in hiding after his involvement in the shooting of a vehicle on July 4, 2018.

At approximately 10:20 p.m. on July 4, patrol officers responded to a call of a vehicle accident where a vehicle had left the roadway and struck parked vehicles that were located at an apartment building in the 1900 block of West Nettleton Ave. Upon their arrival, they learned that the vehicle that left the roadway had been shot while traveling east bound on Nettleton Ave.
Witnesses at the scene directed responding officers to the driver of the the vehicle that left the roadway and saw that the driver had a minor injury to their arm. The driver received medical attention on the scene and was taken to a local hospital.
Witnesses then described to the officers that another vehicle was following the vehicle that crashed as it traveled east bound on Nettleton Ave. Witnesses told officers that a passenger in the following vehicle was shooting at the lead vehicle and the lead vehicle then left the roadway and struck the parked vehicles.
