Woman shot Friday night in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – Jonesboro Police Department detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred on Friday, January 5th, 2018 near the 500 block of North Main St.

At approximately 11:45 p.m., patrol officers responded to a call about a disturbance. Upon their arrival they located the victim inside a vehicle near that location. The woman had sustained a serious injury from being shot and was taken immediately for medical attention where she was listed as being in critical condition.

Detectives are actively investigation the shooting and interviewing witnesses.
